HOW TO CONSTRUCT & PAINT BUILDINGS AND DIORAMAS TUTORIAL

This video will show you how to build and paint buildings from start to finish using MiniArt’s kit.

 

Painting guide

1  Paint the whole house in grey colour with an airbrush

 

2 Paint innerwalls of the 1st floor in yellow colour with an airbrush

Paint innerwalls of the 2nd floor in green colour with an airbrush.

Prepare coarse salt and water

Add a small quantity of water to salt

Stir the salt

7 Put salt on walls fragmentary

Leave salt for 24 hours to get dry

Paint outerwalls in yellow colour with an airbrush

10 When the paint dry out remove it where the salt is.
The effect of showered plaster is recieved

11 Paint roof in red-brown colour with an airbrush

12 Paint outerwalls in blue colour with an airbrush

13 Paint bricks in dark brown colour with an airbrush

14 Paint wooden parts of roof in brown colour

15 Prepare dark red-brown colour.

16 Paint bricks with a dry brush

17 Prepare light brown colour. Paint bricks with a dry brush

18 Paint some bricks in different colours

 

19 Paint bricks in orange colour with a dry brush
 

20 Paint a few tiles in different colours

21 Paint edge of brick break in white colour

22 Paint in white colour windows, shutters and buildings details on facade

23 Prepare dark brown oil paint

24 Cover the roof with an oil paint

25 Immediately wipe roof with a paper napkin

26 Wipe remained places with a wadded stick

27 Cover wooden parts of roof inside with a dark brown oil paint.
Immediately wipe roof with a paper napkin and wadded stick

28 Cover wooden parts of overlappings (blockings) with a dark brown oil paint.
Immediatly wipe them with a paper napkin and a wadded stick

29 Cover the roof in middle red-brown and light brown colours with a dry brush


30 Paint wooden parts in brown colour with a dry brush

31 Prepare light brown paint

32 Paint wooden parts in light brown colour with a dry brush.
Paint wooden parts in white-brown colour with a dry brush

33 Prepare more light colour

34 Paint wooden parts in that colour with a dry brush

35 Paint wooden parts in almost white colour with a dry brush

36 Prepare dark brown oil paint

37 Cover innerwalls of the 1st floor with an oil paint

38 Immediately wipe walls with a paper napkin

39 Wipe remained places with a wadded stick

40 Prepare white, black and brown paints

41 Prepare muddy-grey colour

42 Cover yellow outerwalls with a muddy-grey oil paint

 

43 Immediately wipe walls with a wadded stick

44 Cover innerwalls of the 2nd floor with that oil plaint

45 Immediatly wipe walls with a paper napkin and a wadded stick

46 Prepare blue, black and white oil paints

47 Make grey-blue colour

48 Cover 1st floor of the house with that colour

49 Cover doors with a dark grey-blue paint

50 Immediatly wipe the house with a wadded stick

 

51 Cover shutters with a grey oil paint and wipe them with a wadded stick

52 Prepare light-brown paint

53 Paint the roof in light brown colour with a dry brush

54 Prepare pink paint

55 Cover the roof in pink colour with a dry brush

56 Prepare flesh paint

57 Paint leftside wall of the house in yellow colour with a dry brush

58 Paint front wall of the house in yellow colour with a dry brush

59 Paint rightside wall of the house in yellow colour with a dry brush

60 Prepare the lemon colour

61 Paint inside walls of the house in lemon colour with a dry brush

62 Prepare the light green colour

63 Paint inner walls of the house in light-green colour with a dry brush

64 Prepare blue colour

65 Apply blue color with a dry brush

66 Prepare the light blue colours

67 Apply light blue color with a dry brush

 

68 Prepare the sky blue colour

69 Prepare the white colour

70 Paint windows

71 Paint windows frames

72 Paint the shutters

73 Apply shadow effect with a dry brush

74 Prepare black and brown oil paints

75 Press out extra amount of paint till the brush is half-dry

76 Paint corners and edges of surface

77 Make stains with a dry brush using black-brown paint

  

78 Cut out a cafe signboard

79 Stick it with a super glue

 

80 Wipe extra amount of paint with a wadded stick

81 Cover a cafe signboard with a matte varnish

 

82 Prepare and apply light green color

83 Enjoy the result!
