MiniArt Models was established in 2001 in Simferopol, Ukraine.
After two years of initial research and development, MiniArt Models released its first model kit in 2003 – 35002 SOVIET INFANTRY ON THE MARCH. In that year, we brought a total of fourteen new model kits to the market through their network of established distribution companies around the world. We also released our now famous vacuum-formed buildings in what would become a new series called “Buildings, Accessories and Dioramas”.
In 2004, were launched another new series of models of famous warriors in 1/16th scale “HISTORICAL FIGURES SERIES” together with the smaller 72nd scale “HISTORICAL MINIATURES SERIES” which features on historical buildings, castles and the soldiers who fought in historical battles.
In 2005, MiniArt Models had the pleasure of presenting our kits for the first time at the International Toy Fair at Nuremburg. We now attend several other Hobby Shows to engage with modellers in person all around the world.
In 2006 MiniArt Models released its first military vehicle kit in 35th scale. It was Soviet tank 35025 T-70 M Early ProductionSOVIET LIGHT TANK w/CREW. Since then wehave brought many different models of AFVs, tanks, guns, vehicles & cars to the Catalogue (as you can see here). Each of these new kits has been of an increased level of quality and continued improvement in fit, accuracy and enjoyment.
In 2012 our new slogan was created: “MiniArt Models. Innovation is everything” it is something we think reflects our brand as it moves forward and improves with each kit. Speaking of new kits, that year also saw an additional product line multi-colored kits of models ofbuildings in 1/72 scale to aid especially Train & railroad enthusiasts. This series of kits features plastic in six different colours that can be assembled unpainted, although you can choose to paint these kits to give a more realistic finish if you like.
That key word – “Innovation” continued in 2013 when we released a new series in 1/35 scale Miniatures Series – “Civilian Subjects that show the regular people in wartime and peace time. The first item in this series was 38001 European Tram. The very first model kit of a tram to be reproduced in plastic in 1:35 scale. We also released civilian figures to ride on the trams and even crews to collect the tickets!
In 2014 the company moved to Kiev, the capital city of Ukraine. There was a delay to accommodate this large move of all of our facilities, but this gave us time to focus on a whole new series of even higher-quality models with full interiors and detail that set a new benchmark for the hobby.
In 2016 saw all of our redoubled efforts come to fruition in yet another new series of models in 1/35th scale. The first model in a sequential run of the post-war soviet battle tanks was launched with the 37002 T-44M Soviet Medium Tank. This new family of soviet tanks continued through the T54: 37003 T-54-1 Soviet Medium Tank and continued through all of the variants of this famous tank in 2017. This series is continued with the T-55 family of tanks and its variants.

Our innovative selection creates new possibilities
At MiniArt we take great pride in our choice of kits. You won’t find warmed-over remakes or run-of-the-mill models. We take pains to select subject matter that has either never been done in a plastic kit, or has never been done to our high standards for quality and accuracy. Our selective choices generate new opportunities for serious modellers to enrich their imagination.
Quality beyond the ordinary
In creating tanks, armored vehicles and artillery, we cut no corners. No facet is too small for special attention. Photo etched parts are used liberally to highlight details rarely exposed in other kits. Accessories like ammo boxes, artillery shells, oil drums, even small pails, are perfect. Where else will you find instructions in color to help you navigate finishing touches?
Only life’s figures are more convincing
And while selection is crucial to your enjoyment, quality is also an integral part of every MiniArt kit. We’ve raised the art of figure-making to a new level. We begin with sketches that craft a framework for poses and positions. Then, as part of the molding process, our figures are sculptured by an artisan adept at capturing each facial crease and nuanced detail. These figures are so real you can almost feel their emotion. At times, you’ll even be able to discern nationalities by the crop of the hair, the jut of the jaw, and their facial expressions. Marching, resting, working and battle poses are natural and in synch with anatomical accuracy. Only reality’s figures are more believable.
We are bringing imagination to injection moulding to some placesit has never been seen before – One-offs, prototypes, projects and crazy schemes of engineers are the focus in this series.
From 1945 to the present day the world has changed and conflict has come and gone. This series of kits will
include modern tanks, cars, trucks, AFV’s and figures beautifully rendered and with scrupulous attention to detail.
The aim here is to provide accurate, well engineered and excellently presented kits that will fascinate, excite and
engage so as to immerse the modeller into the subject.
Advanced techniques deliver detail and convenience
In this original series, the art of injection molding and the latest vacuum forming techniques merge to add a new dimension to your hobby. Vacuum formed roofs and walls, mesh with highly detailed injection molded windows, doors, stairs, gates and other architectural components to create exacting replicas. In contrast to ceramic and resin, plastic is more affordable, lightweight, and stronger. And you can continue to work with the tools and paints you are used to handling in producing plastic figures, armor and vehicles.
Authentic architecture expands your hobby horizons
The subject matter is innovative in its diversity. From cityscapes to rural structures, there’s a wide breadth of imaginative architecture. There are structures from WWII Czechoslovakia, the Ukraine, Poland, Germany, France, Italy and more. From a French cafe to an Italian home with terrace, the authenticity is historically correct. Homes, city offices and other structures from various villages and cities are faultless. Select from buildings already torn and scorched with the scars of battle, or structures untouched by war. The selection is inspired.
Modules to fire your imagination
Within our 1:35 Buildings and Accessories Series, we now feature Module Design Kits. They contain brick walls, roofs, accessories and other components. Some depict ruins; others are in their original condition. The kit holds everything you’ll need to create scenes… limited only by your imagination.
A new dimension in military modeling… diorama kits
Never before available in plastic, our Diorama Series breaks new ground in modeling innovation. Each kit contains buildings, accessories and matching, textured bases to form a complete diorama. The creative flourishes are everywhere, like advertising on a street kiosk, period lampposts, directing signs and more.
The realism is exceptional. To complete the dioramas, some kits contain military figures in varied poses, including marching, resting and fighting. Their weapons, armored vehicles and accessories are included.
Miniatures series presents civilian subjects.
Complete package, everything you need for an accurate model in one box. The series is filled up with models from different years ans contains various sets of trucks, cars, trams, figures etc.
Without any doubts we are keeping high level of our models using up-to-date moulding technology. Unique nonmilitary subjects of the Miniatures series give new ways for modellers to enrich their imagination.
1:35 Aircraft Miniaturs SERIES
MiniArt’s new Aircraft Miniaturs series is ready to take off – Vertically!
With the launch of our new series of 35th scale Helicopters from the WWII Period, the “#41001 FI 282 V-6 Kolibri” we are stating our intent – to create aircraft in scale in the highest possible quality both inside and out. That same detail that we have brought to our tanks and vehicles can be expected in our innovation of new models in injection moulded plastic.
Every good aircraft diorama needs people to populate it, and we will provide not only the aircraft, but the crews to fly them, man the guns and aim the bombs, the mechanics, ground crew, accessories and even ground service vehicles to service them.
This combination of aircraft and aviators, planes and people, will be one of most exciting series yet…
1:16 Historical Figure SERIES
The first of their kind in plastic
Once again, proving their penchant for innovative selection, MiniArt introduces 1:16 scale historical figures… a collection
never before available in plastic. The series covers periods from classical antiquity through medieval times, and up through
the 20th century. Warriors from these tumultuous eras include foot soldiers from the Middle Ages, Praetorian Guardsmen
from the 2nd century, Athenian and Spartan Hoplites (heavily armed infantry soldiers) from the 5th century B.C., 15th
century knights in armor, and Napoleonic grenadiers as well as early 20th century Russian Cuirassiers, and more.
Historically perfect, each figure has been meticulously researched as to armor, weapons, shields and dress of the times.
From the facial expressions through the multitude of varied poses, each figure is anatomically correct. The directions will
lead you through the finishing touch of painting, which will bring these warriors to life.
1:72 Historical Miniatures SERIES
Modellers, gamers and hobbyists have never had the opportunity to work with these choices of subject matter in these
chosen timeframes. MiniArt has created, in plastic, a series of historically accurate architecture, soldiers, weapons and
accessories from the 4th through the 15th century and beyond.
Meticulous research of medieval times enabled MiniArt’s artists, sculptors and mold-makers to create a stone fortress and
castle. Ruined city buildings and a pristine East European village home and barn are so faithful to the original that they may
bring previously unavailable accuracy to your dioramas.
